Privacy notice

What we collect

The only personal data this website collects is what you type into the contact form: your name, email address, and optionally your organisation and role, along with your message.

We set no advertising or tracking cookies ourselves and run no third-party analytics. The Google map on our contact page does set its own cookies when it loads — that is the one exception, and it is described below.

What we do with it

A contact form submission is sent to us as an email and nothing else. It is not written to a database, not added to a marketing list, and not shared with anyone outside Masetra Systems Limited.

We use it to reply to you and, if a conversation follows, to carry it on. That is the whole purpose.

Who else sees it

Two service providers are involved in delivering this site and its email: our hosting provider, which serves the pages, and our email provider, which delivers the message to our inbox. Each handles the data only to provide that service.

The map on our contact page is a Google Maps embed. Google will see your IP address when the map loads and will set its own cookies in your browser under its privacy policy, which we do not control. If you would rather it did not, the address above works in any map application.

If you book a demo through the scheduling link, the scheduling provider processes the details you give it under its own privacy terms.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are kept in our inbox for as long as the conversation is live, and are deleted once it is clearly finished and there is no ongoing business relationship.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@masetra.com and we will act on it. Because we hold enquiries as email rather than in a system, deletion means the email is deleted.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Office in Uganda.

Product data

This notice covers the Masetra website only. Data held inside MasetraQMS on behalf of a customer is governed by that customer's own agreement with us, under which the customer is the data controller and Masetra is the processor.
